PREPARE THE TOOLS

To assembly the kit, you will need:

1. Hex screwdriver

  1. Switch comb

  1. PCB mount stabilizer

  1. Cherry MX style switch

5. MX mount keycaps

ステップ 1

STEP 1

Open the case from the bottom by unscrew 12pcs of screws from bottom case.

STEP 2

Open middle feet part by unscrew 8 screws and put all 5 layers of middle feet aside.

Install daughterboard and plug in the jst cable to the db socket. After installing the DB, you can close it by installing all the middle feet.

Put switch and align it with the plate and the PCB. You can use switch comb to help you put the switch in the correct position. Test all the switch whether it works properly using key tester such as VIA, VIAL, etc.

You can choose between oring gasket only, poron gasket top + oring bottom, top and bottom poron, or full poron + oring mounting.

If you choose to use poron gasket, install it on the plate. It’s recommended to put it on the plate rather on the case. This options can be undone, you will need a new pair of poron strip if you remove it from plate

Optionaly you can combine between Poron + oring gasket. To install oring gasket, please place it in between of plate and pcb

To complete your build, you will need:


1. Put the PCB and plate on the case, make sure it sits perfectly before closing the case.
2. To install front and back layer, firstly you can insert the side first and then bend it until you can insert the other side before clip in the middle part.
3. Make sure everything is settled and clipped all together before screw the case

Install 8pcs rubber feet on this position.

Put your desired keycaps that match with the overall looks and your Vertizon WKL is ready to typed on.

To remap your keyboard from VIA, you will need a JSON file that you can download from below. Make sure to turn on "Show Design Tab" on settings to upload the JSON file.
